To conclude: always check your laptop manufacturer for drivers (or parts manufacturers if its a built PC) and check for windows 10 device manager updates if the OEM driver wasn't working. Since then, the system is really stable (2019-2021) and no problem at all. I tried to reinstall the OEM drivers, but no good. I knew the hard way that these drivers are problematic after few blue screens and with the Bluetooth not functioning at all. It did find a couple of updated drivers but I was worried as I couldn't know what is the source of these drivers.
I used Driver Booster 2 years ago to solve connection problems with my Bluetooth for my 2014 laptop. im not sure if that was bad or not though. although before doing so, I unplugged my HDD to keep my files since I was scared of losing stuff, and my C: Drive was reset on my SSD. this was the one that forced me to reset my pc. Second blue screen i had gotten that was preventing me from going into safe mode to fix the first blue screen said "Stop Code: SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED". Once it had finished "updating" all my drivers i got two bluescreen errors, one having to do with FACEit Anti Cheat "Stop Code: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA" with the "What Failed: FACEIT.sys" i know to be very wary of anything people send me ( even friends -_-)ĭoes anyone have tips or like a checklist of things to do now that im back up and running on my computer again? and also a little help on properly updating my drivers and making sure my computers fully functional / at the best it can be? :) sorry about this i appreciate all the help everybody! Update, as i mentioned i had installed it already before posting the above, i was halfway through running it when i posted as well and it broke my pc, i just barely finished reformatting my hard drive and my computer is running absolutely terribly.
I installed it and was a bit worried that I might have killed my computer a little bit. I was playing it with a friend and I was unable to load in, I've been trying to fix this issue for maybe a month now and just not too long ago, my friend out of frustration told me to update my drivers and spammed this software called "Driver Booster" from softonic ( ). It only happens on one map (Dust 2) and on a third party client called ESEA. I'm a CS:GO player, I've played for a decent amount of time now (~6k hours) and until recently, if any of you play the game I've had an issue where my game will crash while loading into a map.
